Tipping is so confusing these days in the states. A suggested 20% for everything you buy off of a POS system service related seems to be the right thing to do, but how does everyone feel about it. Personally I think service from a quality standpoint is at an all time low. Curious to see what you all think.

Interesting timing as @czar just casted about this and I had some comments — I’m an over tipper in general due to my bartender/server past. BUT I do think counter service is different. Keep in mind that tipped workers do have a lower min wage in most states (in US). https://warpcast.com/czar/0x2f5fb6

Oh neat that is funny timing. I really just ask from curiosity as someone that has been in the industry and will be perpetually. Will always take care of my people even with subpar service because of principal but that doesn’t mean I think it is the most efficient way to pay our staff.
