My experience as a 'web3 artist' is entirely shaped by crypto in the sense of support—whether it's people buying my NFTs or creating dynamics that financially back artistic creation.
I'm so technically distant from what it actually means to 'play' with tokens that, on one hand, I’m scared of losing money I need to live, and on the other, I worry about being seen as someone trying to profit off my followers by creating a token. Honestly, it’s often just me overthinking everything. Other mornings, I wake up feeling like my work deserves better rewards.
But at the same time, no one has ever asked me to do what I love to do, and for that, I’m deeply grateful to the people who follow me and enjoy my art.
What do I mean by 'playing with tokens'? Well, I recently created $masita on WOW, and it had a little pump and dump moment that lasted only a few hours. Left me feeling kinda meh about it, hahaha. 1 reply
