How do we get more proactive about raising funds for the treasury? We've left lots of money on the table over the years. Does this become a DUNA thing or do we just apply on behalf of nouns and point the receiving wallet to treasury? @octant and Gitcoin rounds would be great to apply to!

Just need to apply if you're seeking funding. The bigger thing is that Octant v2 will allow any project / community with sustainable capital and a token or nft to operate in a similar way as we do. Generate yield, run rounds to fund what matters to your community, without touching the principal capital. If this is interesting, happy to jump on a community call to share more!

"Nouns" doesn't typically do things as an organization. Individual members do things in the name of the headless brand. If someone wants to start an initiative to run a portion of our Treasury as Octant does, they need to put up a prop. See prop 582. Anyone can put up a grant request for Nouns but not as Nouns. ie if their is KYC involved, its the individual getting KYC'd not the Nouns org. Maybe this is the part that could change with the DUNA, idk and we are not a DUNA yet. I think Nouncil and Noun Square or even an adhoc call with people who are interested are all good idea to communicate this more broadly.
