made me think a lot about it in the context of nouns. some ppl expect every prop to have some quantifiable impact on provenance value but as you say, it’s a cumulative thing that takes time.

yeah, definitely has been expressed by many ppl in different ways, but something about you saying "it's a cumulative thing" had resonance. just gets to the crux of the idea with simple words.
