It seems inevitable for nouns to one day have a more formal way of saying "you're a citizen of noun world" And it will NOT be owning a Noun, as we slowly grow the world and the DAO is no longer synonymous with the movement (it already isn't, but the diff isn't huge yet). I'm applying for citizenship in advance!

Why? Is it because of the word "state"? Owning land as a DAO could be interesting and help diversify the treasury. I don't really see diplomatic recognition happening soon though, but maybe collab with say Palau? Was tempted to write Palau's president a letter on behalf of nouns asp

Agree. The "owning territory" part of the network state is where it loses me and then being recognized by the UN even more so. I do think fascilitaring IRL connections is important though. Through events, pop-up or permanent venues. I see that different from owning territory though.
