in retrospect, we might see this as the start of the farcaster-centric nouns roadmap moment (akin to the "rollup-centric ethereum roadmap" moment)

farcaster provides:
- social / identity layer
- free-ish cryptographic message storage
- ecosystem of clients & users

it's here. it's real. we should all plan accordingly

yes, as @ccarella.eth mentioned, we have a proposal (vote closes in 6 hours) to use Farcaster's infra to send out custom Nouns notifications. Anyone will be able to subscribe to Noun events that are important to them - auctions, bids, passed proposals, etc.
