cool, so it actually switched me from ethereum to base when I was signing in & accepting T&Cs, but when you hit the Deploy button it automatically asks to switch networks back to Ethereum again

a cast thread for now, previously did one on KyberSwap & Axie Infinity + Ronin months but on X. Regarding L2 deployment, when I hit Deploy on the website, MM automatically brings a pop-up to change networks from Base to Ethereum? is it possible to deploy on an L2, if so did I miss something going thru the steps?
