Tbf I would mint this for $14. I won’t mint it for $14 after being told first free, then .002 eth, then .008+ and the part that offends me as a user is the progressive price change + then get to the end and there’s extra labor

The use of free is the only part that’s disingenuous. I don’t think either paradigm is trying to do anything shady by default

Free in Web2 means your identity and data is being brokered, free in Web3 means lots of hidden transaction fees
… apparently there’s always a cost of free, but which one is more disingenuous?
