There are two products here, social network for conversation, commoditized social graph api

They aren’t equal and their growth trajectories shouldn’t look the same

If Phase 1 was get people here who will use it as a test to understand how to build from it, then the flatline is fine because building takes time

If the goal was to build an alternative place for everyone to come talk then the flatline is bad and more people are required to dilute the views and increase the controversy

I keep seeing this take, and I think it’s batshit insane. We don’t need this, these options exist already and they’re lame af

If the goal is to build global utility then the myopic nature of the network currently is not at odds with the goal, I don’t need the inputs from an elementary teacher about how to leverage a social graph to create a service enabled by said social graph

Being here for follows and engagement is not the value prop imo
