Am I the only one whose a little sketched out by letting apps other than Warpcast add/delete posts and change my profile? I get that it's the point but still..

I don’t really see what problems in my life could be created by anything a third party app could do here so I don’t ever think about it. Bad actors always show up at some point but that’s typically when it’s possible to create an advantage by being a bad actor

Delete all your casts? Cast maliciously on your behalf? Change your name/bio? This is crypto.. one bad link could hurt a lot of people

This would do nothing to my life at all though and no money is tied to it. What purpose would it serve a small app in a burgeoning ecosystem to go do all that? They have zero gain

I don’t think it’s fair to say that because this is crypto it could hurt anyone. There needs to be something to be hurt by. The stage of the ecosystem matters. This may not be a true statement a year from now, but it’s true right now so I don’t worry about it at all
