Sent to me by a close friend in the specialty chemicals industry. Formally trained as a microbiologist and currently runs an R&D facility for creating novel food and supplement molecules. This guy has invented tech for pharma, energy, renewables, and weapons

This is the natural reaction the first time people use these models. Certainly what I felt too in the first month of using ChatGPT and MJ in 2022. But turning the initial wizardry into repeatable business value is hard. We're going to see a lot of those stories play out in 2024

He’s heavy in research science around chemistry and novel applications for food and fragrance. All the novelty comes from him, he’s using entirely for the rote work. This also isn’t his first exposure but he is finally hit a stretch where he can afford to update his workflows and now he’s seeing its power

Would love to know what tools he's using and what his workflow is, if he's open to sharing (or in a DM). I'm working a lot in this space and I'm very keen to get the end user viewpoint on how best to adopt this magical tech!
