PolyAccountCasters - why create a channel when you can create an account for your project, allowing account followers to get your announcements? An account used to cost $12/year, now less. A channel costs $25? Doesn't the calculus change when there are 500+ channels, versus 100-ish channels?

Like having a phone line for support vs a forum for support If you build up your projects community effectively they should be able to / want to help collectively vs requiring a dedicated person to staff the account. 1 vs many, but even better you can do both. If I have to pick one I’m going with channel though
