I’m torn on the wildfires, the human component is the important part, the part where this occurred should only be talked about in the context of how unsurprising it was. NPR still only thinks it’s the Never Ending Story version of the Nothing. So many news stories though that age out at speed run rates that shouldn’t, what’s the point of news if we never resolve that which was reported on? Why even bother to tell anyone if the only part we care about is the headline?

Cinema mode is a great way to describe it because then you can apples to apples comp it with watching Silo or anything actually entertaining How do we get news that cares about the solution not the headline?
