Idea for these winner take all pools... Once a team is eliminated, the value zero's out. Seeing issue where there is a lot of "dead" value being held in teams eliminated, suppressing the potential value of those still with a chance. Mavs are +190 to win it all and nearly +500 on bracket game at current prices.

I get that perspective but there is almost no benefit to playing bracket game vs a sportsbook. Just trying to think of ways that will let this grow outside of the small pocket of fc users.

In betting markets like this it’s good to hold value in eliminated options. Some people don’t understand the system or care but keeping liquidity in all options allows for true wisdom of the crowd probability. To sweep the value would disrupt this balance. Plus letting people divest is only fair.

Currently 220 shares pays 140k

To buy that many shares atm it costs ~25k Degen. If there was a mechanism to zero out loser's value and prop up remaining teams, we'd have a more accurate "cash out" value of shares.
