*sigh* nothing more frustrating than people cherry-picking data without context. Low marriage rates don’t mean a thriving singles market. They could mean high divorce, widow rates, or just fewer people overall. Meanwhile, high-marriage states probably have more single young people dating Come on anon you’re better than this

This map shows not married, but not married ≠ single suitors. Not to mention population density. You’d want to find an area with singles within your dating parameters (ex single female between 25-35 ). Even though California is red on that map, you’d have a bigger dating pool in CA vs RI.

I believe that the numbers are not real life truth is that LA has over 10million people... So yea its not the numbers that make the difference and the map is just a map of numbers like you said not serious suitors
