Low-code, no-code is only a bandaid in an era where everyone is increasingly becoming code literate.

Having spent plenty of time in both, code is by far the worse user experience esp for building interfaces and experiences and is easily 10-100x slower.

Remember that everything used to be machine code, and when python came along C developers laughed at the toy scripting language, but now it's the juggernaut. UX wins

I still think the current model for low code no code (usually with flowcharts involved) is insufficient - code is faster in comparison. My idea of the ultimate no-code would be building something with speech assisted by AI, just talk to Siri or Alexa about your idea and get results.
