I didn’t write this, but it’s increasingly my view as well. Which means that I’m now more into Ethereum for the tech than I ever was (except at ICO, where I got in because I thought the tech was cool).

I'm basically here because of the quality of people. In the long term those are the network effects that actually matter. my hunch is that the useful things will be built on Ethereum, not necessarily because of the tech, but rather the tech is a reflection of a certain cultural ethos of pragmatism that I think wins
