for certain channels on farcaster, i would never pay to cast in it but i would pay to see the casts + conversations in it

assuming the "power rule" of 90-9-1 and applying @nonlinear.eth's /memes reward mechanics to both OP and replyguys, this would better incentivize the top 10% instead of just the top 1%

cc @dwr.eth @jtgi a "private" channel whereby the client hides the channel feed unless specific conditions are met. i realize this would be client-only because casts are public, but still, it'd be cool and i think people would use it

a semi-private space that anyone can join with a little bit of friction. more public (and porous) than a group chat, less public than a default channel. irl equivalent is a church service. happens behind closed doors but anyone can join and participate

i'm bullish on this as a viable pathway on a social network platform given the way certain clubs and group chats and even topgolf or karaoke group dynamics work
