Wack that Google's mission is "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful" but if I want to search something across gmail and google drive I can't do it.

believe it or not, there are extremely strict and complex internal privacy policies in place. some self-imposed, others regulatory. cross-product data access and sharing isn’t something some random pm can get done. requires business justification and coordination at svp level and above

I’m not saying any Google app should automatically be able to read data from any other. I’m saying that a live player org would find a way to let me see *what I can already see* on 10 different something.google.coms, in one place. This is fundamentally not a privacy violation.
