Coffeecasters — sometimes I get the jonesing for a cup instead of my usual bang energy. What do you recommend as the ultimate coffee/espresso maker (that doesn’t also require a PhD in coffeeology)?

love the kalita. bought one in tokyo in 2016 and have been using it ever since. tried a bunch of hand grinders and ended up with the kinu m47. built like a tank and works great for both drip and espresso

Would love to try the Kinu to compare. I think my concern is that I might not like the handle shape as I got so used to the Lido one. 

That reminds me...not sure if anyone mentioned the Aeropress yet. Probably can make better coffee than most brewers out there, esp for the price.
