Donald Trump would have been convicted by a jury in DC for attempting to overturn the 2020 election results had he not been reelected, special counsel Jack Smith wrote in a report released early Tuesday.

“Indeed, but for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the Presidency, the Office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial,” reads the conclusion.

yeah. i fed the report into NOTEBOOKLM and listen to the 30 minute deep dive podcast it generates from it it's good. also i can't believe none of this mattered or had any consequences. looking forward to the fake elector trial here in arizona but it won't be till next year i don't think. i think he's implicated in that obviously but like ok now what
