reminds me when my moms house burned down and i was talking to the fire investigator and he mentioned earlier he had done a house fire that the culprit was a dyson vacuum battery and he said it was very uncommon but theoretically possible for dyson electronics to fault and cause a fire but that's what they found and so they alerted dyson of their culpability for the fire and dyson flew out their own guy to look at the vacuum and pointed out the battery was made in china and their batteries were made in idk korea or something and it turns out it was a cheap 3rd party replacement from amazon and dyson is off the hook and it just gets filed under crappy imported battery fire with nobody responsible (another way selling cheap crap from china with no accountability is bad for us consumers)
