I always think it’s interesting when people are remarkably similar in how they speak and sound. I told @matthew the other day he sounds just like Bezos. @dwr.eth and @fehrsam sound similar. Delian and Rabois. Zuck has a hint of Thiel. A buddy of mine sounds just like Rick Rubin. Feels like there’s something to it.

They say you're a product of the top 5 people you spend the most time with, but I think this also applies to parasocial relationships.

The more you read or listen to somebody online the more you start to sound like them too.

This is why complaints about AI training “stealing” work don’t make sense. Literally everyone “steals” this way.  

Writers reflect the books they read.  Musicians reflect the music they listen to.
