If there is something that I really like, it is cranes, excavators and heavy machinery.
I have been lucky these days, it is incredible what can be done with all this by engineering.
In the port where I work, in a matter of days they have raised a dam to join two sections of the port and so it is a future to increase the surface of land.
Seen from a distance it is impressive, it is 800m long but it doesn't seem like much, things change once you see it from the front, what seemed like a rock breakwater and little else, is almost a perfectly smooth multi-lane road.
It seems like child's play, I never cease to be amazed by the power of these machines.
One day I will show you the Lego cranes I have. If I couldn't have a real excavator, at least I could have a toy one. 3 replies
