I’m alway perplexed by this: I mean, at some point, if you always tell people to fix things themselves, they’re just going to create their own competing thing. Look at the position of Rust => against C++ Look at the postion of Farcaster => improving Twitter. It’s hard to address all of this tho, but we need to!

competing things trying to solve problems in different ways or solve different problems is good though, esp when in an ecosystem where there isn't a need to to prevent failure through making sure users spend money with you and not other options.
