Slowly moving Home to an algorithmic feed over the next few weeks. We think this is the best UX for most users, esp. new users. The algo will take into account following, interactions and onchain. We will also be adding a Following (simple reverse chronological) feed option for those that don't want an algo.

I’m not against an algorithm but I don’t want to be manipulated into unhealthy engagement like other social medias — I would ideally want the algorithm to induce discovery & interesting conversations and I think that if we take the time to conceive it as a community we can do something incredible!

I was talking to @july about this idea. An algorithm that rewards and encourages healthy behavior. If only farcaster was built on a decentralized and transparent infrastructure that allowed us to engage in such an endeavor trustlessly🧐

I’ve always thought something like this could go a long way towards helping us both use these psychological techniques and manage our own exposure to them. Before nutrition labels, knowing the impact of a donut was quite difficult, now it’s not
