I think for many it's not an issue, and likely there's a solution that includes a) having solid stringent systems in place for project assets (so basically some intro courses/structure that ppl can use, and standards that ppl get held to with audits etc), and b) at a certain size of operations you likely should have team disclosed identities to certain peoples. Ofc people also don't have to do any of that, but those things could help with certain trust elements going forward at larger size and wanting to have a broader level of trust
