Important update here: still the biggest spike in new users on over a year, but I was accidentally overcounting the number. Corrected chart here:

Corrected number of new Farcon users is about 12k

Something doesn’t correlate. It worth going a layer deeper to see what kind of handles these new accounts have and see if there’s a pattern.

Farcon was a small event of people who were already on Farcaster. How does that add 58k signups

I still think of them as bots. They mass followed me. 😔
