As more apps build on Farcaster, the financial incentive to attack the network increases. But the network struggles as hub count increases. Begs the question: how viable is decentralization & censorship resistance over the long term? 🤔

Important question. Can you expand more about the relationship between hub count and decentralization/censorship resistance? Do you mean that they'll eventually be forced to rely on a smaller amount of hubs since the network struggles when hubs increase?

Yes typically censorship resistance scales with the number of nodes in decentralized networks, but it’s my understanding communication between certain hubs is being prioritized (ex: Warpcast <> Neynar) because all the data passing between hubs is creating bottlenecks. I can’t confirm this though. I heard it from @woj.eth
