Facebook became the world's largest social network by 2021, with nearly three billion users. We have always known Facebook in the world for its reputation in the social media sector. But on October 28, 2021, something special happened to this platform. During a live and virtual conference, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of the company, announced the change of Facebook's brand to one of the most important projects of the metaverse. "A big change is coming! So, due to the change in our approach to creating and supporting the metaverse, the new title Meta will replace the Facebook brand." Zuckerberg said about the reason for the name change: "Our previous brand was only related to one product and could not represent all aspects of our activity today, let alone the future!" 3 replies
