i feel like you're onto something here and i also feel like @polysocial potentially has the missing piece to make this idea perfect

Imagine we all knew that the first post of the TL is always one that needs love. Just for the sake of it. It didn't get there because of anything more than the fact that no one really cared about it.

The only one that cared was the person that actually wrote it.

That person did care. And we need more people to care.
