TON blockchain is basically what Facebook was trying to do with Libra but Telegram is actually pulling it off. Except nobody is paying attention yet.

why do you think no one pays attention? The numbers on the other hand show super growth with over 400k DAU addresses on ton and some new projects like NOT reaching >35 million users in just a few months

In simplest of terms, I don’t think the West got their pound of flesh, so nobody wants to support it publicly. SEC couldn’t regulate it, VCs didn’t get to enter at a low enough valuation, neither did retail. It’s a top 10 coin and nobody’s up more than 3x on it I believe.

interesting! but it feels like builders from other chains will notice it and eventually come there, since the distribution on telegram is insane, and a userbase is already global

ive yet to see real devs involved. attended a space and the quality was super low 'number go up' energy.

other people can say the same about farcaster, becasue the degen/tipping culture that drove the growth here is still dominating, and lots of devs are trying to replicate this success with new memecoins and games

I don't think they can. there are a ton of great articles, dev resources, codebases, etc. for farcaster. i'd argue at least 20% of fc's real users are builders. telegram needs more of that energy

"Ton of great dev resources" for Farcaster - arguably. Yes, about frames, but not about Farcaster itself. Telegram has been open for devs for years. It has many alt clients, including open source ones, a big bot ecosystem, no-code tools, etc. As for TON separately - I don't know, but it is just getting started
