Still trying to develop a thesis around the new Zora update and “content coins,” but I find it very off-putting that so many people are all-in on this shift with no coherent thesis of their own.

Here’s my thesis: 

1. Content is valuable 
2. The internet has a value capture problem
3. Crypto and open markets solve that problem 

The net result is an internet that now has free information and value capture for producers, distributors and consumers of information.

Therefore: make it as fun, simple and easy for anyone to tokenize their content. Do so with the most efficient market model possible on open protocols.

In the success case we move from closed platforms and closed algorithms to open protocols and open markets.
