why doesn’t the market care about fully on-chain stuff?

10,000 pics of pennies minted on the btc blockchain have done $1,000,000 in volume since tuesday

think it depends which market you look at

also, it always takes folks way longer than you'd think to catch up to the bleeding edge

bitcoin inscriptions are all onchain by default, that's why there isn't ipfs for bitcoin inscriptions

think that may get to the heart of why the market hasn't really seemed to price in onchain art on ethereum/evm chains until now, since it requires collectors to dig more to verify vs it being default on btc

I think that’s independent of the onchainness, it’s because it’s Bitcoin I think.

Like if you had a way to do IPFS links on Bitcoin it would be the same outcome imo
