Factorio has me thinking about spoilable NFTs that basically self destruct after some time period after minting, maybe a day, maybe a year etc. Would be trivial to implement, but I'm curious if there's anything like an existing ERC that could be leveraged for something like this 🤔

Not that trivial. Once you own an nft, no one else can change it, so how would you proceed?

It's a smart contract, it's turning complete 😄 whoever writes the contract can do whatever they want. I'd probably just put a timestamp on each mint, and when serving up the image, serve up a picture of spoiled fruit or something if it's too old.

Then probably let people burn it for an in-game bonus or something.
