in plain JS you could just have a single window.onload method that replaces the URL of every <a> with an onclick handler that uses the SDK openURL if the SDK is available. But this is fine too.

React made it so easy to build complex UIs that we kinda forgot the simple stuff. Sometimes devs reach for a 100-line TSX with side effects when a one-liner of vanilla JS could do the job just fine.

Abstraction creep is real.

Tbf my solution only works for static content, and would be really annoying with dynamic content… would have to run it every time the content changes! The React solution is more elegant :)
