Oh boy! Well, if you're super into story @nicoleruggiero, definitely play the games in order. If you just wanna jump in when the mechanics are fleshed out, start with BN3 (it's largely lauded as THE best game in the series, with BN6 being a close second).

Ending of BN1 was a tear-jerker/mind-fuck when I first experienced it. The synopsis won't have the same impact but it's still pretty neat hand-wavey science-y stuff.
