Quick brainstorm iterating on several new search bar placements out of our top nav and into the app home screen.

I try to start every design by quickly exploring as many possibilities I can think of in 1-2 sessions. If there is anything good that results, I'll narrow down and refine from there.

What option do you all prefer?

Yeah, not very commonly used. Mostly first time users. Search is used usually only once or twice before people add DAOs to their faves.

Depends on how often users interact with Search. If it's a common action I'd say C so it's easier to interact with and 1 less click, if it's not a common action from a visual standpoint I prefer B with an isolated search experience

Option B looks good but what happens when the search icon is clicked??

I like these types of design session, just really quickly trying as many options as possible throwing out pixel perfection and just pure raw UI work :)
