Can't say I agree with this. I've seen too many bookshelves full of books that people bought and "have to get around to reading someday". A book is not truly yours until it's in your mind, and once it's in your mind, it shouldn't matter if you own the physical copy.

Disagree. I’m not ashamed of the unread books on my shelves, which Nassim Taleb calls an antilibrary. @annelaure wrote a nice post on the power of unread books. “Instead of a celebration of everything you know, an antilibrary is an ode to everything you want to explore.” https://nesslabs.com/antilibrary
