frankly, i would be more inclined to mint if it were on /zora and i knew there was going to be a secondary.

Interesting. “Guaranteed secondary” is neutral to slightly negative for me. Imo the rare projects with meaningful secondary will do it regardless of guaranteed liquidity If the guarantee entices more mints, those are likely quick sells anyways so it adds supply without adding demand

Until recently I would have wholeheartedly agreed. However, I’ve reluctantly begun to shift my thinking away from digital scarcity and have started thinking of these types of mints as a new form of token altogether. Somewhere between a memecoin and a digital artwork rather than as editions.
