zinger, wake, basil are some of a few fc users that seem to really build and stand by long term positions as traders

think that farcaster is on average more dump-y than the twitter trenches, not sure what explains that or if its even a reality (could just be my perception)

Base is full of jeets. The prisoner’s dilemma is therefore exacerbated. There aren’t enough actual traders with liquidity on the network yet.

That certainly doesn’t seem to help. And probably only makes what I’m about to say worse. 

There is another issue, related to the broader crypto community essentially writing Base and Farcaster off entirely. 

Paraphrasing some actual quotes from folks I speak to regularly. 

“CT is all that matters.”
“Base szn is orchestrated by Coinbase KOLs. Always dies.”
“SOL is where degens trade.”

We may not see a genuine Base season until next cycle tbh. Until then, liquidity will be limited and jeets will slaughter the well-intentioned.

think this is less a base thing and more a farcaster + how many coin deployer bots do we have running 24/7 here? 

just a lot of coins competing for very small sliver of the markets attention
