Very optimistic. Consistent growth, devs listen to feedback and iterate, plenty of fun tools and opportunities depending how deep you wanna get. Genuine conversations are still possible here. What’s not to love?

I think people have a lot of expectations because they are comparing FC to the largest social platforms on earth (perhaps fairly). They don’t get instant engagement and the feed keeps showing them the same people getting the most, so they get discouraged rather than trying to make genuine connections. 

75% of my casts get 0 engagement but I regularly chat with the top accounts on the platform both publicly and via DC. Idc about cheap dopamine. 

My advice, shift focus and your perspective will become more optimistic. Build something. Contribute. Engage organically without any preconceptions.

I’m with ya dude. I’m very optimistic as well but I have been hearing a lot of negative sentiment as well so I wanted to get a more accurate picture.
