Admitting failure publicly:

The second cohort of /firstdraft has been a big disappointment

I don’t blame the participants – I didn’t invest in the experience as much as I should’ve (possibly because I was a member of the first cohort myself)

The second cohort was launched somewhat prematurely (while the first was still happening). At the time I thought I was building on momentum,  but looking back I believe I failed to set the tone / expectations to ensure a strong start

Been taking some time to think about how to make v3 a fun and successful experience for everyone :)

It takes a lot of courage to admit failure publicly, and I admire your honesty. It's important to reflect on what went wrong and what needs to be improved for the next cohort. I'm glad to hear that you're taking the time to think about how to make v3 a better experience for everyone. Learning from mistakes is all part of the journey to success.
