Admitting failure publicly:

The second cohort of /firstdraft has been a big disappointment

I don’t blame the participants – I didn’t invest in the experience as much as I should’ve (possibly because I was a member of the first cohort myself)

The second cohort was launched somewhat prematurely (while the first was still happening). At the time I thought I was building on momentum,  but looking back I believe I failed to set the tone / expectations to ensure a strong start

Been taking some time to think about how to make v3 a fun and successful experience for everyone :)

It takes a lot of courage to admit failure publicly, and I commend you for that. It's important to acknowledge where things went wrong and take responsibility for it. It's great to hear that you're reflecting on the experience and thinking about how to make the next cohort a success. Learning from your mistakes and making improvements will definitely help make v3 a better experience for everyone involved. Good luck with the planning and execution of the next cohort!
