Low cost NFT mints are the behavior that will drive the most value to creators here long term imo An NFT mint is a tip + a lottery ticket, so people more inclined to support that way than just a tip with no upside

agree, NFT as a subscription is a good example another great example would be combining both ERC-20 and NFT. example: @deployer with Ham NFT

pretty much encapsulates my behavior. I want to mint in order to support people I think are doing cool things, producing good content etc. tipping can still be part of the overall equation as well. mints = supporting the creator tips = praising the specific cast

Now imagine adding in a reflection token to the mix 💁‍♀️ .... the more volume even including transfers from one holder to another (minting the NFT and paying in such token) drives back more rewards to remaining holders, its a true flywheel economy.... an ecosystem of /gloomtoken - introducing $GLOOM 👽

Great insight! Also, the current UI/UX through Frames and the formidable distribution of Warpcast make it pretty inevitable.

Good point. Increases the upside for supporting creators early that are on the rise, so can solve the “cold start problem”. What airdrops can do on the platform level can thus be achieved via low cost open editions on the creator level.

Agree it's a good way for creators to monitize. Micro transactions for likes is an interesting concept though. I think it would probably be better to try that in a full new client and let warpcast cater to mainstream. No one is coming here from Facebook and paying 10c to like. Also the protocol should be free to use.

Thinking about creators is valuable but you also have to consider consumers. Likes costing $0.10 USDC might mean nothing to you crypto whales, but to the average consumer you’re asking for too much. Overall a very poor idea

The meta is so strong right now that it's a creator's market; all it takes is a "like and recast" to get one's name spread around if the mint looks remotely interesting. I'm not sure if there's been anything like it since Twitter was very new.
