Hi founders, I’m building an iPhone app that turns everyday objects into general purpose computers. My goal is to turn all objects in the world into computers. The name of my company is “The Flower Computer Company”.

It means “a general purpose computer”! One way of simplifying the idea in terms of technical equivalency is that I would like this app to spin off a Linux VM for each discrete object that is photographed and isolated with Dia. I don’t literally want to do this, because it would be insanely expensive, but I want to get close to what this equivalency implies. If every discrete object in the world was like a link or pointer to a tract of general purpose compute, I think it would be pretty interesting in terms of how people could build “on” a system like this
