i don't trust that metal straws at cafes are clean inside. am i wrong?

Industrial dishwashers are totally comprehensive. When I worked ‘em at Boston Pizza back in the late 90s, they’d even remove the baked on cheese from French onion soup. But also, pipe cleaner is the only way to be sure. And no fucking way restaurants are on that tip.

From personal experience of having to clean straws at home... I *highly* doubt they're clean.

In Korea, metal straws are not used. These days, I use paper straws.
