I used to think this but it happened pretty quickly for me tbh, for both cast and recast. only thing that hasn't changed yet is "direct cast" or "DC", still just say DMs

i just think cast sounds sooooo dorky. also i posted this thing about “what would steve jobs twitter look like” and i said farcaster instead of twitter bc obviously but it just doesn’t read the same. “what would steve’s casts have looked like?” *shiver*

directionally i agree, but i also feel that "tweet" had to feel super dorky at the beginning too
