why do we (society) obsess over and often hate tech billionaires but don’t bat an eye at music billionaires (taylor swift, jay Z), sports billionaires (magic johnson, lebron), or entertainment billionaires (george lucas,  tyler perry)?

Balaji’s recent episode on MoZ with @dwr.eth where he contrasts the scale of expenditure of large companies/billionaires and large governments was pretty stark revelation. Companies are nowhere as big as the biggest governments.
