What was the resolution to the Ledger Cloud backup drama last year? Is there a last good firmware release? Did everyone migrate to multisigs with mixture of wallets?

That all of us were stupid and didn't really understand how hardware wallets worked. They always could have access to the private key because updates important and everyone just moved on. Still using mine.

I use the ledger. I thought it was a nothing issue. It was opt in, and a zero knowledge storage solution. It was a security downgrade if you chose it, but it was an additional choice depending on you level of risk.

Lol, I love how the solution was either: 1. Accept that it was never a big deal and wallet security is always a compromise in multiple directions. 2. Be outraged and ban ledger to create your own convoluted replication of their security compromises. I mean there's still trezor or keystone, not to mention a myriad of other solutions, but everything's a compromise one way or another.
